The Big Pram Walk
Sunday 20th November
Elizabeth Quay, Perth

The Big Pram Walk is about Mums supporting Mums and creating a community of care and support for parents struggling to cope with the challenges of early parenthood.

The walk is timed to coincide with Perinatal Depression and Anxiety Awareness Week, and funds raised will go to beyondblue and the Australian Red Cross Family Support Program.

There will be the option to participate in a 1km or 3.5km walk on the day starting at 9am. Time slots will be allocated on the morning. The walk is not a race, rather an opportunity to create a community of support for families.

There is opportunity to join or start your own local walk.  For more information, go to: http://bigpramwalk.com.au

The Centre for Perinatal Psychology values collaboration and an integrated approach to care and community.  We actively support and are supported by individuals and organisations who share our vision and values.  The Big Pram Walk is a wonderful example of community care and village-building for families during the perinatal period.

At the Centre for Perinatal Psychology, we understand the difficulties adjusting to life as a parent.  We help parents transition and adjust at this very important time in life.
