Juliana Gavranich

Juliana is a Clinical Psychologist and mother of three young children. She started her career ten years ago working in the disability sector with children and families, and individually with young adults. After becoming a parent, Juliana became immensely interested in issues relating to pregnancy and the postnatal period, and decided to focus on perinatal psychology as a dedicated area of practice. She works collaboratively with expecting mothers and parents during the postnatal period (up until three years after birth) to help them connect to their beliefs and values, reach their potential and enhance their emotional wellbeing during a time of big adjustments. Issues she assists with include depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, trauma, prenatal diagnoses, parent-child bonding, relationship difficulties, and parenting support.

Juliana works in a warm and genuine way, using a relational, attachment-based framework and draws from a range of evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Rapid Eye-Movement Desensitisation (EMDR).  She is also a certified Circle of Security parenting educator.

Fees & Rebates

Cost: $200 per 60-minute session *Medicare Rebate: $128.40
Out-of-pocket: $71.60 per session

*Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.  This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.
