Meaghan is a Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years experience working with individuals, children and families. Meaghan’s passion for working in the area of perinatal health developed in the context of her clinical work and having a family of her own. Meaghan’s focus is on supporting parents emotional wellbeing during the transition to parenthood. She believes the relationship developed between an infant and parent is paramount to the emotional wellbeing of the child and the family.

Meaghan has worked in a range of clinical settings, including Monash Health Early in Life Mental Health Service, The Melbourne Clinic and private practice providing a range of therapeutic programs. Meaghan is passionate about women’s health and providing evidenced based treatment to women, parents, families, infants and children.

Meaghan works collaboratively with each client and is eclectic in her approach. She draws on her extensive training in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Enhanced, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Attachment Therapy.

Meaghan is trained in the Circle of Security Parenting Program and has a particular interest in supporting mothers in the period post birth and the transition to parenthood. Meaghan also has extensive experience in working with people experiencing Antenatal and Postnatal Anxiety and Depression in addition to Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.

Cost: $263 per 50-minute session *Medicare Rebate: $136.35
Out-of-pocket: $126.65 per session

*Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.  This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.
