Educational and Developmental Psychologist
Erin is a psychologist and supervisor and the director of Cradle Psychology. Following completion of a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology, Erin quickly noticed a connection and passion in supporting clients in their journey to becoming parents, during pregnancy, postpartum and infant mental health.
Erin is particularly passionate in supporting families who identify as LGBTQIA+ and recognises there can be unique challenges for these parents and families. She is open in her experience of accessing a donor program with her wife, and is a Mother to a young son.
Erin uses a variety of therapeutic techniques dependent on the needs of the client (e.g., Compassion Focused and Schema therapy), and commonly uses the lens of an attachment framework. Supporting clients with a range of presentations including fertility issues and IVF, surrogacy, perinatal loss, birth trauma, anxiety, relational concerns and adjustment to parenthood challenges.
Erin has additional training in Circle of Security and Family Therapy.
Erin is a warm, empathetic and open-minded clinician who is dedicated to supporting the well-being of parents and hopes that this stage of life can feel as nurtured and positive as possible.
Erin currently offers Telehealth appointments (for clients anywhere in Australia) and a home-visiting service within a 10km radius of Ivanhoe, VIC.

Cost: $190 per 50-minute session (Telehealth) $250 per 50-minute session (Home-Visiting)
*Medicare Rebate: $98.95 (Telehealth) or $124.35 (Home Visits)
Out-of-pocket: $91.05 per session or $125.65
*Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician. This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.
