Therapy with Louella offers a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space to explore the complexities of perinatal life. Her grounded, soothing, and compassionate approach prioritises safety in the therapeutic relationship, creating the foundation for engaging with what our hearts and minds need to heal and grow.

Louella is a registered psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families. As a parent herself, she recognises that pregnancy and the transition to parenting are not always smooth sailing—and that life with a new baby can feel very different from what was imagined.

Louella’s work is trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming, and underpinned by curiosity and collaboration—she values joining with clients to make meaning of their experiences. Informed by attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology, Louella draws from a range of evidence-based approaches to tailor support to each client’s unique journey.

She has additional training and interest in:

• Navigating perinatal loss
• Becoming Us relationship-development framework for couples
• Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Attachment Informed EMDR
• Supporting neurodivergent individuals in the perinatal period

Louella practises from a beautiful therapeutic space at North Head Sanctuary in Manly, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where parents and their infants are welcomed with warmth and respect. She is passionate about fostering connection, safety, and joy in the early years of parenting.
