Larissa is a warm, compassionate and neuro-affirming Registered Career Development Practitioner with CICA and CDAA and Perinatal/Clinical Psychologist who enjoys preparing women and their partners for pregnancy, birth and post birth. She has a wholistic approach to wellbeing focusing on physical and emotional wellbeing. Enhancing the quality of relationships is a cornerstone of therapy.

Career Development:

Larissa has a strong interest in career development in the context of the family and how career development can support mental health.  Larissa has expertise in supporting women with enhancing their self-understanding to make informed career choices. Supporting women with navigating return to work post birth or making a career change is a particular focus especially with neurodivergent folk. She has a wealth of experience across several industries (health, sport, education, hospitality, retail, small business and government) and has worked with people with disabilities and of different cultures.  She offers a hope-based approach with the goal of supporting neurodivergent women with finding balance and meaning.

Perinatal Psychology:

Larissa focuses on supporting the transition to parenthood addressing perinatal anxiety and depression to ensure healthy social and emotional development of children.

Larissa has an empowering and strength-based approach to perinatal and infant mental health.  She embraces a trauma informed and neuro-affirmative approach with reflective parenting. She uses a variety of evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, Mindfulness and Compassion focussed therapies to nurture self-understanding, to support the nervous system and capacity in conjunction with solution focused and strength-based approaches.

Short- and long-term therapy are available to assist women, their partners and families to understand and address their concerns.  Appointments are available via Telehealth and in person appointments can be arranged.

Fees & Rebates

Cost: $270 per 50-minute session *Medicare Rebate: $149.05
Out-of-pocket: $120.95 per session

*Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician. This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.

Please note that Larissa, whilst is registered for the NDIS, accepts NDIS self-managed funding
