Jenni O’Meara is a registered psychologist and founder of Perinatal and Infant Psychology, a private practice supporting individuals, couples, parents, infants, young children, and families from preconception through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenting.

With more than 20 years’ experience across public mental health, community, child, family, and perinatal settings, Jenni brings specialised knowledge in perinatal and infant mental health. She has a Master of Health in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health and additional training in attachment, trauma-informed practice, infant mental health and parent–infant relationship work.

Jenni supports clients experiencing perinatal anxiety and depression, fertility-related distress, birth trauma, perinatal loss, adjustment to parenthood, parent–infant bonding concerns, infant crying, sleep and feeding difficulties, and relationship changes during the transition to family life.

Her approach is warm, inclusive, practical, and evidence-informed. She works collaboratively with families to strengthen emotional wellbeing, support secure relationships, and build confidence in the early years of parenting.

Fees & Rebates

Cost: $180 per 50-60minute session *Medicare Rebate: $96.65
Out-of-pocket: $83.35 per session

*Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.  This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.
