Dr. Rosanna Pajak
Clinical Psychologist
BsC, DClinPsy

Rosanna is a warm, compassionate psychologist who has worked in private practice in Australia since 2012. She has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London (UCL) and experience working within clinical and community settings in both the UK and Australia, including specialist trauma services and women’s health perinatal services.

Rosanna appreciates that the journey into parenthood can bring great joy, but also involves unique and unprecedented challenges. She specialises in supporting individuals and couples to navigate these harder aspects of trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth and new parenthood: aiming to help new parents develop confidence in their new role and enrich their bond with their baby and each other.

Rosanna’s approach provides a safe opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings, find new ways of understanding your difficulties and learn new skills to navigate day-to-day life. She forms strong relationships with her clients and has a particular focus on self-compassion, emotion-regulation and attachment relationships.

Rosanna believes your therapy should be tailored to you, your circumstances and your goals. She works in an integrative way, carefully combining ideas from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT), family therapy and Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT). She is also a certified Circle of Security Educator, a relationship-based parenting program designed to help parents better understand and meet their child’s emotional and relational needs.

As an experienced trauma-informed clinician, Rosanna has a particular interest in birth trauma. She is passionate about supporting parents to process and heal from distressing, traumatic or deeply disappointing experiences surrounding the birth of their baby. Rosanna is a clinical advisor to the Australasian Birth Trauma Association (ABTA) and has also founded The Birth Healing Collective, in order to share psychologically informed information and provide group-based support to parents after difficult birth experiences.

Caitlin Sopp
Clinical Psychologist
BSc (Hons), MPsych (Clin)

Caitlin is a Clinical Psychologist working in private practice whose passion is working with people as they negotiate the challenges of pre-conception, pregnancy, birth and parenting. She has been working in the infant and perinatal mental health field since 2015. She is also a mother to twin toddlers and appreciates the unique challenges that arise for multiple birth families and children who have spent time in NICU / SCN. She understands that for many people pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period are very different to the images they saw on Instagram. Issues she assists with include fertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, pregnancy, birth trauma, premature birth, grief and loss, parent-child bonding, depression, anxiety and parenting support.

Caitlin aims to create a safe space free from judgement where clients can allow themselves to be vulnerable and process their experiences. Her hope is over the course of therapy she can assist individuals to heal from their traumas, build their confidence in their abilities as a parent and regain the joy that may have been temporarily lost due to challenging situations. Caitlin’s style is warm and approachable, she presents as a genuine person and likes to utilise humour in sessions. She works from a relational attachment informed framework and utilises the approaches of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and has completed further training to provide Rapid Eye-Movement Desensitisation (EMDR).
