Eva Gregory
Perinatal & Infant Psychologist (Clinical)
BPsych(Hons), MClinPsych, MAPS

Eva is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist who brings a deep curiosity to her clients’ lives and perspectives and has genuine care for their wellbeing. Eva enjoys working with mothers, fathers, people, and babies from the very early stages of family planning and pregnancy through to birth trauma, adjustment to parenthood, and postpartum mental health challenges.

Eva works with clinical mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, and OCD, as well as supporting clients through profound life experiences. These include fertility challenges, pregnancy grief and loss, relationship doubts and concerns, navigating neurodivergence, and parenthood.

In therapy Eva supports clients to feel understood, emotionally safe and empowered. She always considers the broader picture, taking an attachment-based perspective that integrates an understanding of family systems, trauma history, cultural backgrounds, and social and economic context.

Eva holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and has experience working clinically with clients in private practice, and in non-clinical roles for non-profit organisations in the perinatal sector. Eva has published research into the experience of birth trauma in couples. She calls upon evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Therapy is offered from rooms in Dee Why on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and online via telehealth. Eva enjoys collaborating with other healthcare providers, such as GPs, midwives, obstetricians, and psychiatrists.

Parents are warmly encouraged to bring babies to sessions. Although Eva sees clients individually, partners are welcome to attend at points throughout the therapy journey too.
