Natalie Boulton
Psychologist
B.Beh.SC., B.Psych(Hons)

Natalie understands ambivalence when it comes to seeing a psychologist. On the one hand you might feel hopeful, excited and keen to work through your struggles, and on the other hand you might feel terrified, annoyed, confused, or that you can’t really be bothered. This is normal. Showing up to a complete stranger to talk about personal thoughts and feelings can be daunting. Taking a risk and trying something new is scary. Natalie knows how important it is for people going through difficult times to access the help they need, when they need it, and with a therapist or team who helps them feel safe, understood, hopeful and human.

Natalie has been a registered psychologist for over 14 years and has worked in both the private and public sectors. She comes to the field of perinatal psychology with a wealth of experience working with individuals and families struggling with eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder. Natalie has worked with women who are trying to conceive, pregnant or with babies who also have (or have had) an eating disorder. She understands the intense shame, guilt and confusion people can experience whilst struggling with a mental illness and the challenges of pregnancy and parenthood.

When you are struggling, it’s important to remember that you aren’t alone, things will get better. Help is available, and accessing effective help is key.

Help is available in-person, phone, or video (via secure Coviu platform).
