Amy is a Clinical Psychologist and the Director of Nest Psychology Brisbane. She has more than 20 years of experience providing support to expecting and new parents; men and women and their children. She uses a variety of evidence-based therapies, such as Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy to support her clients to work towards their goals.

Amy works with a range of presentations, including perinatal depression, anxiety and OCD, adjustment difficulties, trauma, relational concerns, parent support, and perinatal loss. She is a certified Circle of Security Parenting facilitator and draws on this intervention to strengthen family bonds.

As a mother to three boys, she has lived experience of parenting through various developmental stages, and so understands the importance of prioritising the emotional well being of parents to enrich the well-being of the family as a whole.

Amy’s approach is authentic, creative, open minded and curious. She works from her beautiful clinic in Toowong and welcomes new clients to make contact for support.

Fees & Rebates

Cost for face to face or videohealth: $250 per 50-minute session

Medicare Rebate with a Mental Health Care Plan: $137.05/ Out-of-pocket: $112.95

Medicare Rebate with a Non-Directive Pregnancy Support plan: $68.45/ Out-of-pocket: $181.55

Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician or a non-Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling plan from their GP.  This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.
